In early 2023, Peter received a judicial nomination from the Office of the Governor. On June 20, 2023, the State of New Jersey Senate Judiciary Committee and the rest of the Senate body unanimously confirmed the appointment of Peter J. Koulikourdis to be a Judge of the Division of Workers' Compensation.
